Afterall, I am here to make a difference in this world and not to please people to like me. Just remember, people will notice WHAT I do but only God knows WHY I do things..all motives are known only by Him. :)

Novena to St. Therese

Miraculous Invocation to St. Therese

O Glorious St. Therese, whom Almighty God has raised up to aid and counsel mankind, I implore your Miraculous Intercession. So powerful are you in obtaining every need of body and soul, our Holy Mother Church proclaims you a “Prodigy of Miracles”….the Greatest Saint of Modern Times.” Now I pervently beseech you to answer my petition (mention here) and to carry out your promises of spending heaven doing good on earth…..of letting fall from heaven a Shower of Roses. Henceforth, dear Little Flower, I will fulfill your plea “to be made known everywhere” and I will never cease to lead others to Jesus through you. Amen.


Prayer
O Beloved Little Therese of the Child Jesus, model of humility and singleness of heart, you promised “to spend your heaven by doing good on earth”. Be my advocate with Jesus and through your loving intercession, obtain for me the grace I need most.

(Pause and mention your petition)

Sweet Little Flower of Jesus, through your “little way” you have helped thousand in their time of need. Grant that I, too may enjoy the kingdom promised to those who are willing to become as little children like you.

The Proteus in me..

PROTEUS
In Greek mythology, Proteus is an early sea-god, one of several deities whom Homer calls the "Old Man of the Sea"[1], whose name suggests the "first", as protogonos is the "primordial" or the "firstborn". He became the son of Poseidon in the Olympian theogony (Odyssey iv. 432), or of Nereus and Doris, or of Oceanus and a Naiad, and was made the herdsman of Poseidon's seals, the great bull seal at the center of the harem. He can foretell the future, but, in a mytheme familiar from several cultures, will change his shape to avoid having to; he will answer only to someone who is capable of capturing him. From this feature of Proteus comes the adjective protean, with the general meaning of "versatile", "mutable", "capable of assuming many forms": "Protean" has positive connotations of flexibility, versatility and adaptability.
