Afterall, I am here to make a difference in this world and not to please people to like me. Just remember, people will notice WHAT I do but only God knows WHY I do things..all motives are known only by Him. :)

why its so hard to decide?

why it is so hard to decide? to choose between two things? why its so hard to justify things?
to convince yourself of the advantages lies behind each option? to search for the possible consequences of this decision?
why its so hard???
taking a risk....yeah, right! sometimes we really need to take a risk for us to know what kind of life waiting for us should we pursue things. we should always go forward not backwards... always forward! move forward though it entails alot of risks, unfamiliar things to deal with and more challenges to meet. but to remain where you are is not as simply avoiding a risk. it still a risk of being left behind, being unproductive and being mediocre. why? because we are afraid of change. afraid of new things, to get hurt, to be treated differently and to fail!
but all of us need to grow up! we all need to pursue our dreams. pursuing one's dreams is one's sole responsiblity. we should not rely to other people's promises or help. it is our own responsibility. so anything that is not happening to our life is our fault. its harsh but it is true. it is all our fault. and its all because we choose things. we all faces tough decisions, and we all have an opportunity to choose, don't we? we always have a choice. but of course, we should weigh things first. but still its so hard to decide. to decide or not to decide, still you've chose.
so to stay or not to stay...is still a decision. if you stay, you remain the same. if you move, things will be different. it wont be easy but it will be worthwhile. so just decide... to risk or not to risk?
its so hard to decide. so hard to come up with the right answers. but i guess it will only boil down to one thing or one question..... do you really have a burning desire to reach your dreams? if so, i guess you've already know the answer..you've already come up with your decision..the decision you have to make. so what are you waiting for... now is the right time to act! so decide and you'll find out what things will be... - belle 05/07/07 2:26am

PROTEUS
In Greek mythology, Proteus is an early sea-god, one of several deities whom Homer calls the "Old Man of the Sea"[1], whose name suggests the "first", as protogonos is the "primordial" or the "firstborn". He became the son of Poseidon in the Olympian theogony (Odyssey iv. 432), or of Nereus and Doris, or of Oceanus and a Naiad, and was made the herdsman of Poseidon's seals, the great bull seal at the center of the harem. He can foretell the future, but, in a mytheme familiar from several cultures, will change his shape to avoid having to; he will answer only to someone who is capable of capturing him. From this feature of Proteus comes the adjective protean, with the general meaning of "versatile", "mutable", "capable of assuming many forms": "Protean" has positive connotations of flexibility, versatility and adaptability.
